Iv worked fast food for years and why wouldn't the cook check meat to insure temp, and prepared order correct! ? That a cooks job! Food poisoning, or a death due to neglect wouldn't be good for bussiness!
It sounds like your daughter came after business hours, most restaurants have firm policies around opening locked doors for non employees, especially when money is being counted. I understand wanting to get a refund and express your concern with the safety of the food, but could this been done during the next business day or by calling the corporate number listed on the receipt?

Sonic has always been a local favorite of mine. Warm summer nights make for a perfect time to drive in and enjoy some ice cream with the family. Reasonably priced meals as well so if you don't feel like cooking they have a pretty good variety of food too choose from. They're also perfect for snacks and have plenty of different sides to choose from

An all American Drive-In with car hops. 2 in Newton Kansas, on the main street that makes them the favorite Cruising turn around spots for people on the main drag. Food always good and consistant. Happy hours for drinks and appetizers at 50% of prices in afternoon and half price malts and shakes after 8pm during spring and summer months.
